Please stop saying people without kids don’t know what tired is
When I seem to make a comment about being tired, I have multiple times had people reply with “try having kids” or “you don’t know what tired is until you have kids”.
While I respect that raising and caring for children is stressful, tiring and a challenge, that doesn’t mean people without them are not tried.
Personally, I have a full time job that I bust my ass at mentally 40 hours a week, plus a physical part time job. I have my own health problems I’ve been dealing with for 5 years that enormously drains my energy. And I am frequently stressed about my husband’s mental health.
No kids doesn’t equal not tired. We’re just tired for different reasons.
That’s all. Thanks for reading. 💕

APPROVED B-LISTERS On call with Fox News, Trump says that it's a problem that the U.S. lets Iranian and Muslim immigrants in because "they just go bad... there's something wrong with their genetics"
Advice I’m about to die, and I’m not sure what to do about my cat.
He’s very cute and sweet to me. However, he is a feral cat that I got from the woods. He doesn’t respond to anyone but me. He needs to be able to go outside and play in the woods. To be frank, he doesn’t even want to be touched by anyone but me. I can’t put him into a shelter because nobody will adopt him. And he wouldn’t understand that. I’m afraid he would just be put to death. He’s only 10 years old. I don’t know what to do. The doctor says I have about six months to live. I wish I didn’t have to leave him behind. His name is Boggles.
No one can adopt him. He wouldn’t understand that or respond to it.
I have no other family but him. It breaks my heart to think that his only owner would leave him suddenly.
This is not an adoption request. He doesn’t like other cats. He doesn’t like other people. He doesn’t like children. He doesn’t like dogs. He doesn’t like anybody but me. He’s mean to everyone except me. That made me feel special until I got my diagnosis. To everyone else he’s just a mean, weird cat. But to me, when we are sleeping next to each other, he’s my buddy. I’m worried what will happen when I’m not there to take care of him.
Only two things I can think about is to anesthetize him prematurely before I die, or just let him loose into the woods and hope he makes his way.
Just writing this is breaking my heart.
Please advise.

Because the rabies virus affects the nervous system, patients develop ‘hydrophobia.’ Even if they are very thirsty, spasms in the swallowing muscles prevent them from drinking water.

TIL in 1998 a man on Olympic Airways had an asthmatic reaction to cigarette smoke, so his wife asked 3 times that he be moved away from the smokers. At first, the flight attendant said there were no empty seats and later said she was too busy. The man eventually died & his widow was awarded $1.4m.
