Art I MADE ANOTHER DITTO CARD!🥹💜 (OC)
This is my second Ditto card from the little series of cards I’m making! 🥹💜
I used Pokopia’s Ditto transformation as a reference for the concept because I always loved how funny and chaotic that scene was.
I’ve been having so much fun making these illustrated cards, and honestly it feels really close to my dream of drawing for Pokémon cards someday. I’m already excited to start the next one! 💜🥹

Image Strange Design of Pokemon Game Music Collection: Game Boy Jukebox
So here it is! In AU and NZ it's not being scalped as hard as other parts of the world. Still in stock ready for shipping from My Nintendo Store ANZ for AU$109.99 (probably the price tag is the reason!).
The player is built with a chip-on-board controller + 64MB (yes, megabyte!) SPI NOR Flash. That's quite generous compared to other Nintendo toys (FYI Game & Watch Mario comes with a whopping 1MB of SPI Flash). Probably because the controller is too weak to either render music or decode the encoded songs so they have to store all songs in PCM which would take a log of space.
So yes, the plastic cartridge chips does NOT have any circuits - game BGMs are all stored on the player, selected by plastic bumps on cartridge chips pushing 6-pin micro switches, like how a Famicom Disk System anti-piracy works. Counting from left to right when player facing up, there are in total 64 possible slots for 6 bits. With no pin pushed (i.e. no cartridge inserted) plays only the Game Boy chime, and 45 known working combinations from cartridge chips come with the set. That leaves 18 unused combinations. Among all 18 unused, none plays music, except somehow 0b011000 plays Cerulean City Theme, which is the same as 0b101111. Weird.
In case you're interested, here's a full list of music and cartridges:

Misc I got to tour Pokémon USA headquarters yesterday in Seattle. My daughter lucked out with some gifts and also some allowed pics from inside.
Hey everyone, hope this is the correct flair and spot to post. I was super fortunate and got to take my family and tour the USA Pokémon headquarters yesterday in Seattle. I am lucky enough to work with someone who is married to an employee. They do not allow tours otherwise. My daughter loves Pokémon as do me and my wife. Upon entering they asked my daughter her favorite Pokémon and hers is eevee. We weren’t allowed to film inside or take photos of certain areas but these were allowed. Overall had a blast and was very cool to see everything they had. Super impressive and creative design and work areas.
Every conference room for example was named after one. The size of the room correlates with the size of the Pokémon as well.
They had a huge lunch room with booths which had custom tile work showing every iteration of the poke centers from each game. Two of them shown in these photos.
The charizard is supposed to be life size.
The cards you see are the original uncut versions to show how they print them.
Overall an amazing experience and as you can see they really hooked up my daughter afterwards with a custom stuffy and bag as well as some other great merchandise some of which can only be acquired from there or the Pokémon center store.
Thought it would be cool to share.

Discussion POKOPIA EASTER EGG: The Man and his Machop Spoiler
galleryIn Pokemon Red/Green/Blue, an older man is tamping land in Vermillion with his Machop. He says he's preparing for construction.
In Pokemon Gold/Silver, the same man, even older, says he's still preparing the construction, now with a Machoke. However, he doesn't have enough money.
In Pokopia, in the ruins of Vermillion, a tablet reads that a man named Kenzo, owner of the largest building in the area, completed construction with the help of a Machamp. Presumably the old man traded his partner to his son, causing it to evolve.
In Pokopia's kind of bleak world, it's real nice to see these happy little easter eggs. I was so excited when I understood the reference!
